Gwen Frostic and loop. a match made in needlepoint heaven!

As children we made a treck to Gwen Frostic's magical Northern Michigan studio each summer. Gwen's studio was full of nature inspired cards and notepads. Our favorite part was watching the Heildelberg presses humming away, creating Gwen's beautiful products.

Gwen Frostic drew her inspiration from the flora and fauna surrounding her everyday life. She was an early environmentalist and used (and still does) environmentally sustainable inks and gave lectures on ecology throughout her life. Gwen saw into the future and worked hard to presesrve the land around her studio.

We are thrilled to bring Gwen's gorgeous block prints to new life through needlepoint. Gwen's nature designs translate perfectly onto our mesh canvases and we are so excited to share these peices of stitchable art with the world. Thank you Kim and everyone on the Gwen Frostic team for helping us with this collaboration.
