Framing our Gwen Frostic collection with Framebridge

A good frame makes a finished needlepoint feel like a tiny piece of art — which felt especially fitting for our loop x gwen frostic collection.

Our friends at Framebridge helped us create the perfect gallery wall to showcase the collection at the Gwen Frostic shop and studio in Benzonia, Michigan. We paired each canvas with mats and frames that complement Gwen’s nature-inspired artwork while still feeling fresh, playful, and very loop.

Here’s exactly what we chose, so you can recreate your own Gwen gallery at home:

Trees

Frame: Bleached Maple Gallery

Mat: Meringue, approx. 1¼"

Bunny

Frame: School House White, Prof. 01

Mat: None

Raccoon Mustard

Frame: Farrow & Ball India Yellow, Prof. 01

Mat: Farrow & Ball India Yellow, 1½"

Raccoon Charcoal

Frame: Farrow & Ball Railings, Prof. 02

Mat: None

Crow

Frame: Farrow & Ball School House White, Prof. 01

Mat: Farrow & Ball School House White, 1½"

Goose

Frame: Wren, Prof. 02

Mat: Sugar, 2¼"

Jumping Frog

Frame: Farrow & Ball School House White, Prof. 01

Mat: Farrow & Ball School House White, 4"

Proof that your finished needlepoint doesn’t have to live on a pillow — frame it, hang it, and enjoy it for years to come. Thank you, Framebridge, for making our Gwen canvases truly shine!!
